The Capacity Age of your boardroom
You measure everything else your leadership team does. This measures whether they will still be doing it in fifteen years — as a number, with the error published, and without exposing a single individual.
Aggregate, anonymised capability reporting
Every participant is assessed individually on Protocol v1.1 and receives their own confidential result. You, as the organisation, never see it. What you receive is the cohort:
- Median Index — the middle of your cohort out of 100, with its band.
- Capacity Age gap — the difference between the cohort's median chronological age and its median Capacity Age. The single number most leadership teams react to.
- Domain breakdown — cardiorespiratory, strength and tissue, movement capacity, so you know which of the three is carrying the risk.
- Twelve-week change — the delta at retest, reported only where it exceeds the measurement error. A cohort that moved three points has not moved.
No individual result, no name, no rank, no team-of-one. Ever.
If a group — the whole cohort, or any breakdown within it — contains fewer than five people, we do not report it. Not as a median, not as a range, not as a comment. With four people in a cell, an aggregate is a thin disguise: anyone who knows the team can usually work backwards to the individual.
This is a privacy feature, not a limitation, and we will not waive it on request. It is the difference between reporting on a workforce and surveilling one.
What the report looks like
The numbers below are invented for illustration. They are not a real client, not drawn from the Evolution dataset, and not a benchmark to compare yourself against.

Note the last row. A two-point move is reported as unchanged, because the composite carries an error of ±3 and we will not sell you a result the instrument cannot support.
Credibility
- The methodology is published in full — the domains, the weighting, the tests, the scoring and the floor rule.
- The error bars are published. Every metric carries a stated minimum detectable change, the composite carries ±3 Index points, and any change smaller than that is reported as no change.
- Assessments are conducted by the Matt Roberts Evolution team at 32 Grosvenor Square, on calibrated equipment, to a scripted protocol.
A scoring system nobody can inspect gets ignored. One that can be inspected — and that states plainly where it is still provisional — gets trusted.
